After weeks of waiting and speculation, it finally happened – Matt Murdock / Daredevil (Charlie Cox) made his way to the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Fans have been excited to see him appear for the first time in a Disney+ series in a long time, both to see his dynamic with Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany) and to see how he fits into the larger scene of the Marvel Cinematic Universe before he starred in the eighteenth episode of the Disney revival. +. The episode saw Jane and Matt on opposite sides of the same court case, with Eugene Battillo/Leap-Frog (Brandon Stanley) suing Luke Jacobson (Griffin Matthews) for his seemingly wrongful claim. Through a chain of events, Eugene kidnaps Luke to make him a better suit, prompting Jane and Matt to dress up as She-Hulk and Daredevil to stop him. When the two reluctantly agree to join forces, Jane is surprised by Matt’s superhero identity, and when I ask him if he calls himself Daredevil, he confirms it—but not before a brief presentation of John Paesano’s main theme from the Netflix series.
Once at Eugene’s “Lilypad” headquarters, Matt and Jane disagree about different ways to get rid of Leap-Frog goons, with Matt wanting a more stealthy approach. Unsurprisingly, his approach involved fighting a group of goons in a dimly lit corridor – something that has become a staple of the Netflix series. Of course, Jen eventually intervened by smashing the hallway ceiling, taking out some guards in the process.
“He has such respect and love for that character,” She-Hulk lead writer Jessica Gau previously said. “The character obviously meant a lot to him, but he also came into the game to play with it.” collider. “He was totally ready for more funny banter and had this fun dynamic with Jen and She-Hulk.”
The writer added, “It really does feel like a character from the comics. It was so much fun because it really fits into the show so perfectly.” “They’re both lawyers, and they’re both superheroes.
